I pass this potted Frangipani on the front porch of a terrace house in Chippendale almost every morning on my walk to work. One of my favourite flowers.
Frangipani are glorious. The flower petals are quite thick, almost waxy. They grow into quite big trees and there are a lot of them around my part of Sydney. They drop their flowers quite often, and the flowers take ages before they wilt and die, so sometimes the streets are paved in frangipani too. They have a lovely light scent too.
Sydney is beautifull at this time of year, not too hot and humid but quite warm and everything is in flower.
I heart frangipani, its my absolute favourite flower. They look awesome, and they smell divine. In fact, I even had them on my wedding cake (a little scary, I admit, but true).

Beautiful, beautiful, and just saying 'frangipani' is nice, isn't it? Feels good in your mouth. Like 'slacks' or 'portal' or 'Guy de Maupassant'.
That is a gorgeous flower I have never even heard of or seen before!!! I learn things by coming here!!!
It's true, duane. And I love that the the streets under Andy's feet are paved with jacaranda, if only for a little while.
