5 Yays! (And No Boos!) For A Sunny Friday Morning

  1. Bright red geraniums!
  2. A handsome man wearing just running shorts, with 2 pierced nipples and an artifical leg, mending his bicycle.
  3. Fat Dachsunds! (3 sightings.)
  4. A very brown woman in a very orange sari.
  5. Endlessly, tunelessly, singing the Moloko song Sing It Back

Bright red geraniums especially dripping from hanging pots (the french kind of pelagornium - very little deadheading - yeah!) or huge terracotta pots (the italian kind - maybe with a little age).

Nipple guy with fake leg - ooh, makes me smile just thinking about him.

Can't really comment on little fat dogs so I won't.

Yep, sari means summer. Rub it in, why doncha?

And don't know Moloko but the words are juicy " if you have been tempted
By fruit hanging ripe on the tree...If you desire to lay here beside me
Come to my sweet melody..."

I shall make up my own tune.

Loulou, hie thee to a record store and listen to Moloko. They also are deserving of the moniker luscious. Then, go listen to the new album 'Ruby Blue' by ex-Moloko lead singer Roisin Murphy. Gorgeous. Currently my favourite record.

I have some blue glazed pots, as yet empty, in my courtyard and I'm thinking a couple of red geraniums would be just the ticket. Non?

Nipple guy was hot, and he had one of those cool 'Paralympic runner' style artificial legs on. Utility rather than prosthetic.

I heart little fat dogs. I know the fat is bad, but cuteness!

I know the prothesis peircing guy - he's a customer up at the bottleshop.
I can't but think 'pirate' when I see him. He's a pretty froody dude. When my leg gets bitten off by a shark I'm using him as a blueprint.
