I made the switch to the new version of Blogger, finally. I'd like to say it's because I'm all progressive and stuff, but really it's because Blogoogle decided to force my hand and give me no choice. Anyhoo, all's well that ends well. It was a quickish and easy transition and I've had a bit of fun modifying my template a bit. If you spot anything that's broken, let me know so that I can get the maintenance team on it stat.

you are braver than me... I'm still on the old version....
I think they eventually force you, destructomeg, because I don't specifically recall asking for it, but it's not like I haven't said that before.
Meg, Mr Mike is right. Eventually Blogoogle forces you, with a bit of rougher than usual handling and the misapprehension that sometimes no means yes.
nothing like a new frock to brightern up your day.
I tried to change, but Safari on my iMac refused to recognize the new settings and would not go past the final frame. Firefox won't handle most ordinary Blogger pages - it overlaps pics and text all the time, hence I use Safari to blog. So if they force me to move yet, I'm really stuck.
PS. OK, here's a nuisance. I had to copy 'n' paste this comment and the URL to your comments page and post my response via Firefox.
Three attempts before "word verification" image showed up properly. Dammit. I hate beta versions of anything!
As soon as you have the new version working, be sure to make a copy of your template. I needed my copy the other day when the Blogoogle had a spell of forgetfulness.
I was shocked, and very happy, that I had actually saved it properly. And all I had lost was a couple of new links I had just added.
Kenyo, blogger saves a copy of your old template automatically now, but it's good advice.
