Sunday was Fair Day, one of the first events that kicks off the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras festival. I love Fair Day! It's always a great opportunity to see the broad variety of gay & lesbian groups and businesses around Sydney, get sunburned, pet pooches, run into old friends and ex boyfriends (four, I counted), drink in the sun, watch drag shows, boy watch, and generally have a grand old time. Perhaps a gay old time would be more appropos?

I love hats.
Who doesn't?!
You don't buy tequila, you rent it. Hence that sign.
Looks like SO MUCH FUN there. And so SUNNY. Can't wait for more.
It was hot, but kind of cloudy and slightly drizzly one minute... then scorching hot and humid the next! Ah, summer in good old sub-tropical Sydney. It was a fun day! Afterwards we retreated to a pub for a friend's birthday drinks. I was quite hammered by the time I got home, all those beers!
I couldn't help noticing the pink Australian flag in the background of the "Awwww, sweet" photo... who knew they made such a thing!?
That was the official emblem for the day or something, when you made your entry donation they gave you a little pink flag sticker.
Just how many ex-boyfriends do you have? Am I right in thinking they sort of litter the landscape there abouts?
