Sculptural
I was a bit taken by these seed pod things (if that's what they are) that were part of this large drift of hot yellow and orange coloured lillies.
There's nothing terribly scrotal about them, but I remember thinking they kind of look like green, slightly spikey, testicles.

I love them. They're canna lilies and I used to plant them every spring. I find the scrotal association a stretch, but I love that, too.

TOA, you're really not alone, I've always thought they looked kinda scrotal... but I never shared. heh. I have Cannas up the back near the garage, the darker-flowered varieties have dark bloody red seed pods and they look... well, like little red scrotums!
Do these get shown at the Flower Show? Talk about 'looks on their faces of trapped terror.' Do you smell them or lick them?
But seriously, did you ever see the bloom of the split-leaf philodendron monstera? So very rude. I will post a photo soon.
