Persistence

Blogger blog commenting seems to be going through a patch of weirdness at present. First off it gave me a message to say my blog didn't exist... Blogger is making me feel so invalidated.

It seems to be working, eventually, but slow and I just got the exact same word verification on two different blog comments. So hang in there in the interim if it's acting weird.

I've been noticing the same. I was worrying it had something to do with blogs that had "switched over".

I haven't switched, I'm still using the old version. It seems fixed now.

and you are validated as well, I trust.

You know me, I crave validation.

hmmmm.... still a bit crap for me, but then, ForBattle is non-beta and ForRattle is beta, and I'm stuck in the middle with you...

something about beta needing you to be with google, while non-beta needs you to be blogger.

and the door bitch for this post is the same as the last one I just did in your 42-up post!

smenita!

Let's chat about that: has anyone switched to the NEW Blogger version? What are the pitfalls? If any... And why do I resist change so? Just wondering aloud here.

MG, I haven't switched partly because I've resisted setting up a Google account and partly because I hear it's still a little buggy. I know that my server here at work always gives me a "Non Secure Items" warning when I comment on a beta blog. Also, some of the third party interfaces like Flickr don't work. I will switch at some point though because I like the keyword tagging of entries.
