More Of The Same

Broken sleep.
Strange, vivid dreams.
Tired and headachey...

I'm tired of this crap. I was kind of hoping deep down that 2007 would see a fresh start and the end of my increasingly frequent sleep problems. Seems like I was wrong.

Normal programming will resume shortly.

Darling. I haven't slept well in about two weeks. And the past few nights I've been plagued by bizarre and disturbing dreams.

I think it's because I have abused my body too much during the holidays. I hope you get some relief soon.

You could be right FG. I did have a spectacular hangover on New Year's Day... even though I didn't think I drank that much. Stupid cocktails. :)

It's unusual for me to remember dreams, but last night I had at least 4 doozies. Um, car accident in a cornfield? Working on the miniature special effects for a movie? Being in the men's room of a sort of bleak concrete building, while torrential rain poured down outside?

Inside my psyche is looking like a weird place right now.

You need a good wank right before bedtime!

Hah! I've tried that, believe me! I'm still collecting empirical evidence to see if it works or not, so far I only have about 30 years worth of data...

perhaps it is the unconscious trying to hit you over the head with something important; not letting up until you 'get it'?

probably all that festive ouch-a-mahol, TOA... ahem :-) get thine body back into rhythm and perhaps the sleep patterns will follow.

I've been trying to sort out my sleep patterns this morning after going to bed at 3.30ish each night. I set about 7 alarms this morning to get me up, and after about the 4th I was so confused as to what was making all this noise I finally got up.

Ur-spo,
Maybe, but I kind of doubt that because I don't normally ever wake up having any awareness of my dreams. I am a chronically restless sleeper though, which seems to stem from the fact that I'm a very light sleeper. Always have been. I get off to sleep ok, it's not like I'm an insomniac and lying there worrying.

My sleep problems seem to have gotten worse though since I fractured my collarbone a few years back. Maybe the fact that I often have shoulder, neck and back soreness is part of the problem?... The vivid dreams is a rarity though.

Tyson,
3.30?! Yikes, I'd be wiped if I did that. I'm not so much a Night Owl...
