You doubt? Emipirical evidence never lies. Cases in point:
Rupert Evans of "Hellboy", "Fingersmith", the London stage etc, etc:

Rupert Penry-Jones, of "Spooks", "Charlotte Gray" and a number of things that show that frankly, dude looks good in any period:

Rupert Everett, of "Another Country", "An Ideal Husband", a lapse in judgement co-starring Madonna, and other projects as befits one of the stately homos of England:

Rupert Graves, of "Maurice", a bunch of other Merchant-Ivories, and my most favourite period era greenskeeper/ladder climbing bit of rough ever:

Really, the evidence doesn't lie. It's statistically significant don't you think?

So I'm not the only one to have noticed this. And I must say I was particularly disappointed to see that Mr. Evans was not in the new Hellboy movie. I was so looking forward to seeing him again.
I haven't seen the new Hellboy yet, that's a shame! He was adorable in the first one.
Rupert Graves was still rather fanciable in last year's Channel 4 TV film Clapham Junction, playing a gay scriptwriter. They got the other one from Maurice (whose name I forget...James Whilby?) in it as well. Rather a dour and sensationalist piece (and it also featured what I think is British TV's first erection in a drama) but worth a look if you can find it.
I'm happy to share any of the Rupert's with you ;-p
John, I love Rupert Graves! I was really affected by his performance in Maurice. I want an Alec Scudder to meet me in the boatshed!
Peter, it's a date! I'm adept at sharing. :-)
My first taste of a Rupert was Mr Graves.

I hadn't heard of many of the others, but I do believe you're onto something there.
ooh arrrr oooouuuuuuffff Mr Graves is top of the list for me too. I saw Maurice at the movies with a friend who had only just come out at the time... both of us fell in love with those gorgeous eyes :-)
You forgot to mention the most handsome of all:
Rupert Brooke!
