Absolute gold! Where do you get this stuff?

Thanks! All the pics are from the dress rehearsals, and from the Eurovision website I linked to in the last entry. I've spent waaaaay too much time trawling through them today! (I'm hungover - it's therapy)

Hurrah! For Eurovision! Hurrah, I say!

(I can't watch any sort of clips at work - I think The Big Christian Charity thinks they are the work of The Devil and blocks them.)

The only place I've heard or read about this Eurovision thing is right here at good 'ol The Other Andrew. It certainly ignites something in you, dear boy. Hilarious post!

Can't wait for Eurovision. I thought I was excited but TOA, you are even more focussed. I haven't done any pre-research but I will be counting key changes and costume changes and factoring them into my scoring.

I'm sure there will be some in depth discussion on the results on monday.

The show should be accompanied by heavy drinking. Such color! Such glamor! Such...how you say in your country...'gay!'

Thanks everyone! Yes I was hungover, so spent waaaaay too much time surfing the interweb yesterday. I now have 2 Eurovision parties to go to, one for the Semis on Saturday night and one for the Finals on Sunday. w00t! BRING IT ON!

Michael, Max is a Eurovision tragic as well, but it isn't shown in the US so it's even harder for him. Poor lamb.

I remember the first time ABBA went to Eurovision...

Anonymous said...

Ah for Michael... ABBA won the eurovision song contest in 1974 with Waterloo :)

The Other Andrew said...

Damn straight they did! In fact, the group I'm watching the Finals with on Sunday are primarily a group of ABBA fans.

Mousicles said...

I think you have to be an ABBA fan to like Eurovision since so many of the songs try to emulate the ABBA sound.

I suppose the theory is that it worked in 1974 then why not now...
