Flame On!

I caught Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer on Sunday morning with Mikey (the lovely ex). The verdict? Somewhat disappointing. Thank God that Chris Evans has a completely gratuitous contractual obligation shirtless scene. Seriously. It took my mind off the script for a minute (actually, it took my mind of everything else but his furry pecs for a minute). That's a Good Thing.

And if I didn't have a thing about the skin tight wetsuit look, then I do now. Nice packaging, huh?

Such a big budget quality franchise and yet such a lame cobbled together script. How do they do that? It had great moments, the action scenes were largely, well, fantastic but the poor actors looked like they were struggling to get enthused with some of the lines they had to utter.

I couldn't find your email address on the blog...
I forgot I won't be coming to the Courthouse for the next couple of weeks for various reasons. I looked through _Knitting Without Tears_ and the Baby Surprise isn't there.

I do have the pattern and am happy to lend it to you if you can't find it anywhere else in the meantime. Just let me know.

And, on the subject of the post, with those wet suits, stripping seems almost unnecessary!

Cecilia, we'll miss you at the pub! See you in a couple of weeks.

I found a different version in a Vogue Knitting magazine, so I can always use that if need be. Thanks for looking!

Hi Andrew!

I saw the new FF film on Sunday and was quite happy with it. It was a good continuation of what they achieved with the first film, although they played it safe with a number of the elements.

By coincidence, I received a remastered DVD version of the 1994 (unreleased) FF movie this week, to replaced the grainy bootleg VHS copy I once bought via eBay. Now that's good for a laugh!

Therin, I should come visit and we could have an FF Night. Er, maybe I should rephrase that...
