Snippets

  • If you think dressing up a dog in purple sparkly horns is bad, then cry bitter tears for the Former Congressman Chuckles and his parade of Star Wars Hallowe'en costumes.
  • Remember all the Hooray Henry's & Caroline's of the 1980's? Like me, did you ever buy Tatler magazine just to see the pictures of pretty young things with titles behaving badly? Check out the photos by English society photographer Dafydd Jones. Including a really YIKES! pic of Anna Nicole Smith, Nigella Lawson having a spiffing hoot of a time and a winsome young Hugh Grant. Check out the archives for more jolly japes.
  • This boy disproves the theory that all English toffs are weak chins and unfortunate teeth. Yummy.
  • As much as I love this bookshelf I would need like 30, or maybe 40, of them, which would be expensive, sort of defeat the purpose, and leave me with no wall space. If you own about 12 books, you might want to consider getting a couple. Neat idea though.

that bookshelf is *brilliant*. except I'd need 8345629456 of them.

Of course the yummy "this boy" photograph dates from 1981. 25 years later, Crispin Wilson pops up as a currency trader for ICAP, the world's largest inter-dealer currency broker.

Apart from losing whatever morals he might have had, the pecs will have turned to man-boobs, and his society wife's lawyer will be screwing him for every last penny of the trust account. Meanwhile, he'll be having a sordid affair with the assistant manager from the Johannesburg desk, while she copes with his whiskey-induced violent outbursts in the vain hope that, one day, he'll leave his wife and "settle down" with her.

The private school fees for Prudence and Winston are appalling.

Sorry, did I destroy your fantasy?

Nice horn though.
