Wonderful

Some pleasures are simple even while they're layered with complexity. They make you feel immediately at ease and yet set your pulse racing like a marathon. Feel so familiar but so thrillingly new.

Kissing and kissing, and then kissing some more, a beautiful man on a deserted rainy street. Holding hands while strolling through an art gallery. Showing each other special things, this beautiful statue that glorious painting. Laughter and shared intimacies over mexican food and cervezas.

It all so very new, and feels fragile and beautiful, like something that needs to be nurtured and protected. Even while it already feels so comfortable. Simple. Complicated. Wonderful.

I'm so pleased it all turned out so great for you, and of course you deserve it ;-)

You know it's taking every ounce of restraint I can muster not to grovel for details, right?

You could always throw a starving dog a bone via email!

You've been very cagey haven't you?!!

That sounds great - I'm very happy for you.

I know I've spoken with you by email about this already, but I'm so glad that Sunday went well (in fact more than well).

The boys from Friday night (well, the "Papacy" as I've taken to calling John and Paul) were both desperate for happy details when Evan and I saw them on Sunday afternoon.

The more I think about the two of you, the more it makes sense.

Kerry, thanks! Did you get my email on Ravelry? I sent you a message to let you know that I couldn't make it to The Courthouse yesterday.

Michael, already done - check your email. :)

'Trefoil, mmmmmm maybe a little cagey. But it such early days yet, we only met on Friday and we had our first true date yesterday. Is telling you that he's really lovely enough? :)

Thanks Mikey! It now makes sense to me too. :)

Yay for Andrew!!!

This makes the news of the sudden and brutal demise of the Newtown Hotel pale into insignificance.

Thanks everyone! I realise I've been a bit vague on the details. Yes I met a lovely man on Friday night, and then we had our first real date on Sunday. He's lovely.

The Other Andrew said...

..and I overuse the word "lovely". But it's all lovely!

He is lovely.

And do we know more about the Newtown closing down? I must go and check Same Same. But we were there on the, now legendary, Friday night when they announced that the Saturday was the last night.

Yep, goy the Ravelry message. No probs.

Well, whether you spill the details or not, it's great news and I'm really happy for you. Send a bit of the springtime joyousness my way, will you?

Thanks Monsieur Peen!

'Trefoil, I'll see what I can do!
