Just One Of The Reasons Why I Love The TV Show "Torchwood"

What I've seen on 'Torchwood' hasn't excited me at all. Should go back and watch some more before a totally dismiss it.
Capt Jack rocks though.
In the last 3 Dr Who episodes (no more till Xmas;( he was great. Flirting with everything with a pulse , good dynamics between the characters and some history was explained. Wish he hung out with the Dr more.

Yeah, I like the man-on-man Torchwood action (can we get some Ianto on Owen action please?)... but I gotta agree with Coz... I'm still watching, but it's not thrilling me like just about every episode of Dr Who does...

Oh, and I emailed you a version of the picture that doesn't just look like one dark screen with some light lines across the right side... :)

I'm really liking the show. I think it's taking a few episodes to get going, but I am enjoying it. It's darker and a bit more serious in tone than Jack's appearances on Dr Who, and I agree that I like the flirty Dr Who cap'n Jack A LOT.

Ianto didn't have much to do up to this point, but whoar! Cute! Maybe it's the smart suit...

Yani, this is a screen cap from an Ianto fan site. We don't judge. :)

We don't have Torchwood here yet. No fair! Not even on DVD. Rumor has it that it's coming this fall. 'Til then I'll have to content myself with David Tennant. Goshamighty.

I really like Torchwood so far, as I've said. But I get that it isn't every Dr Who fan's cup of tea. We've only had three (four?) eps so far, so I think it's still finding its feet. So far we've had a few bits of man-on-man action, so that's a plus! :)

This Monday's episode was the best yet. Really solid acting which reminds you of what the English are good at.

Deliberate or not, I still have issues with the (somewhat) cheesy and low rent sets, but I will keep watching for a while.

And of course, there's John Barrowman.

He doesn' have a lot to do so far (but I believe his role gets fleshed out a bit more later in the season) but I'm liking Ianto. There are hints that he and Jack have had a sexual relationship, there's more kissing between the two later in the series. Yay! Kissing!

ahh but the low-rent sets are part of the Dr Who legacy!

Legacy schmegacy Speedie! Haha!

I know, but it is a new century. At least we have no aliens made of bubble wrap. Well, so far.

Well to be fair, the incident you've illustrated here was actually mouth to mouth resus rather than actual snoggage... or at least that was my impression at the time...

Oh no, I missed Monday's ep. Is it repeated during the week?

Yani, you're sort of half right. It was a kiss to bring Ianto back to life, which is one of Jack's little mysterious skills, but not actually CPR. It was a definate kiss. And not the last kiss these two share either...

Kerry, sadly I don't think it's repeated.
