Silent Protest

Commercial advertising posters have become insidious around the inner West these days, and I love this silent protest that someone has undertaken. Simply removing the effectiveness with blank white paper. Calming the visual noise.

I think the residents should go crazy with crayons and chalk now, and get everyone involved in doing a mural. Why wait for some graffiti artist's tag when you can have insta-art?

Great blog by the way. I've been lurking for a week, and thought it was time to say hello :-)

I applaud folks who take a stand on something like urban blight like this example.

I'm torn, I love posters but I just love that long stripe of calm :-)
