Spot The Uncommon Denominator

Eastern High School track team. Washington, DC. Circa 1905.

I'll bet that louche number 2nd last on the front row is a wicked little minx! And P.S. since when does a track team have a coxswain?

Nobody told me football was so much about knitwear. Seriously, how did I not know this?

So, who spotted the uncommonly lovely denominator? Track team AND football team? Tight singlet one minute and snug snuggly pec enhancing knit the next? OMG, I'll bet this one broke some hearts.
