Breakfast Of Champions

A winter Saturday morning.

Breakfast of Champions

Plus porridge with honey & sultanas.

Enter The Dragon

Plus strong black coffee = a good start to the day.

I'm kinda happy right now.

Oh yum - how good does the porridge look - my trip down there has changed my life again as far as it now revolves around food, good food that is.

It looks like the best winter breakfast - reminds me of living in England. Not that our winters dont get cool enough... : )

How was the show? Did you both love it??

I love the porridge, although I am a 'tea' person rather.

Q 60s Girl, the porridge was lovely. The coffee, my contribution, was likewise lovely! (I'll blog about the show in a seperate post btw)

ur-spo, I'm definately a Coffee Person. I like chai and herbal teas, but regular tea seems to often give me reflux.

Once again I am at odds with your location. "winter"? I'm busting out the thong here, hon. It's going to be a hot one this weekend. But that porridge does look nummy nums.

OK, "porridge" is very Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Dumb question. Is it the same as oatmeal? Regardless, it looks yum. I have oatmeal and a cuppa almost every day for breakfast.

Thong = G String in this part of the world MG. In Oz "thongs" come in pairs and are what you call flip flops. Oh the hilarity that ensues! Either way, you in just a thong is a good image.

Michael, I don't think it is quite the same, but similar. US style outmeal is usually a finer milled texture I think. Porridge is made from the whole rolled oat kernal, hence the lumpiness. Or is oatmeal made from whole rolled oats too sometimes? The stuff I've seen looks more like a cornmeal sort of texture.

michael guy - for moi anything below 20 dgrees celcius is unfortunately winter for me - the wind chill factor at times visiting Sydney nearly killed me...

TOA writes "Either way, you in just a thong is a good image".

But oh if we must see michael guy in a thong such as our traditional footwear can he please make sure he "wears" it so the foot bit is to the front...lol
