In Media Res (Or, I Watch Too Much Darn Television)
Aussie Queer Eye For The Straight Guy has been cancelled after putting to air just three episodes. It was a tad lackluster, but I didn't think it was that bad, and the second and third episodes were much better than the premiere. The ratings sucked big time, apparently.
I'm digging the second season of My Restaurant Rules, despite the move away from showing as much of the couples struggling to open their restaurants, and tricking up the format with the addition of classic reality tv show 'challenges'. It sooo does not hurt that Rob and Todd are quite the tasty dishes themselves. I do mourn the loss of the lovely Curtis Stone as host though.
My favourite show that I have never seen, has to be Project Runway. I first started reading the recaps after seeing the posts about it on Too Much Free Time. As far as I know nobody has plans to show the series in OZ alas.
Still loving Lost, Desperate Housewives and my beloved The Amazing Race. Oh, and trying hard to avoid reading any recaps of The Amazing Race, given that the series ended a while ago in the US and I still don't know who won...

I am so happy I have started watching The Amazing Race because I can channel all the hatred in my heart towards a worthy target: Jonathon. *shudder*
Amanda (you know me, Coz's sister)
Oh! Hey Amanda! I know, Jonathon is a nasty piece of work, of the highest order. I don't know if they are still together, but I hope for Victoria's sake they aren't.
'Mental magician' indeed.
I read the recaps of "Project Runway" without watching the show as well, and after freakgirl's "Best Reality Finale Ever!" synopsis, I am watching a rerun of said finale right now! It's catty and vicious and fabulous!
Oh! And we are getting the next Amazing Race here starting Tuesday. Whee!
I couldn't resist looking up what happened. I won't spoil it but ... just recently Jonathon and Victoria did a special show with Dr Phil to "workshop their relationship."
I hope Dr Phil ripped Jonathon a new one, and told Victoria to not be such a doormat... harsh, but AAAARGH! Best line of the series, one of the other team getting beaten to the mat and one of them said 'Yuck. We got beaten by blue-hair guy!'. Snerk. He's such a tool.
As to Project Runway, Michael I hear Jay has popularised the Sissy Bear single-handedly! Nice designs too.
