Giftage

We've had a little flurry of small gift giving here at work this morning. So far all of the gifts I have received have fallen into two categories:

a) Chocolate
b) Alcohol

I'm happy about that, truly I am, but it does give me pause to think that my workmates might think I'm a big fat lush! I hadn't labelled them as being that perceptive until now.

Chocolate + Alcohol x Gyllenhaal = HEAVEN!

One can never go wrong with chocolate. The best pairing of alcohol would have to be a red wine, but then again any would do in a pinch.

I'd rather be a fat lush than a skinny bore. And I'm sure your readers and friends prefer you that way too ;-)

My workplace giftage has been all either chocolate (and I'm fine with that, although I do try to spread the joy and calories around) and small plastic environmentally unsustainable crap, which I loathe and detest, and which makes me think that western civilisation is about to sink into the sea. I think it's testament to what a nice person I really am that I managed to smile and say thank you to the person who gave me the Christmas themed snow dome wine bottle stopper.

I'll pass on chocolate, but my theme for this holiday season in "Half In The Bag." You should see the table setting!

PS I think Jodie just called you fat.

I know, she totally called me fat.

(Kidding!)

You would pretty much think you can't go wrong with chocolate, in their defense. (Although I did get a bit of yucky milk chocolate, whereas I'm a dark chocolate man all the way baby!) We're not even supposed to have unopened bottles of alcohol on The Big Christian Charity premises, so shhhhh! don't tell.

Well that makes you a CHocaholic lol! I am very thankful to everyone that gives me anything, but I don't eat it all ha ha ha!
