It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Weirdness!

Forget your tasteful baubles! Eschew Martha Stewart(TM) evergreen swags and bows! Cast aside tinsel! Deck the halls with weird this Christmas!

From the home of Western decor Spurfect!, come these jolly Christmas characters to decorate your ranch:

Less "Frosty The Snowman" and more "Clanky The Horsehoe".
(Faint horseshit smell sold seperately.)

Any guesses? Why it's a Horseshoe Cowboy Santa of course!

Feel the need to show your Pro-Life, Pro-Iraq War conservative stance in a festive manner? Don't just hang a yellow ribbon on the old Christmas Tree, hang a soldier fetus instead!

MissPoppy writes:

"Protect our troops - from the womb to the war. What if the fetus you were going to abort would grow up to be a soldier bringing democracy to a godless dictatorship?...

...Show that you support the "culture of life" by buying and proudly displaying one of these patriotic unborn Americans."

(Oh, and yes don't panic, this product is a satire. Thankfully. Via feministing.)

Ah, but it's a satire that's frighteningly close to the truth. Really frighteningly close.

The Santa would have been easier to recognize if they'd made a bucking horseshoe reindeer to go under him.

There's a barn I drive by that has a huge sign painted on it which reads: Protect our troops-- past, present AND future.

Trust me when I say that satire is not practiced in these parts.

I always feel sad and slightly angry and confused when I pass it. I need to protect unborn troops of inevitable future wars now? But now that I see it's a pro-war anti-abortion twofer, well, alles klar Herr Kommissar.

But what about the fetuses of those who hate us for our freedom? By extension of this logic, shouldn't we be doing something to attack them?

Ah! I was just about to post that myself....the militaristic fetus Christmas ornament (tm).

Those horseshoe snowmen and Santas however....
even more mixed messages there than the gun toting fetus.
