The 10 Song Meme

OK, I can't post about Katrina anymore so it's a return to the frivolous here at TOA! This meme has been doing the rounds for a little while, so in keeping with my Late Adopter nature, here's my contribution of 'old and new' current favourites.

    Andrew, Have you heard the German song Schnappi currently on the charts here in Australia after already going gang-busters in Europe? The video clip is especially cute with its krokidil, and the song is one of those so annoyingly catchy tunes you can't get it of your head. Knowing your love of all things Deutsch, I thought you might appreciate these lyrics

    The Robster AND the possability of The Backdoor Boys?!!! Ohhh .... my ..... Brad ..... be still be beating gay heart!! I can't type any more now, you will have to excuse me whilst I move away from the keypad and scream like a teenage girl ...

    Bodes, do you get why I keep telling you that you should start your own blog?! I mean dude, why hide newsworthy posts in my comments? You should let them out to see the light of day. Which doesn't mean that I don't like your commenting, but posts like this deserve better.

    Although, I'd have to snap you a 'z' if you ever got more link traffic than me... though given how popular your other sites are, that's prolly a given. Bitch.

    Bodes, you are so, so wrong. I hate those novely songs! There is a particular tradition of the 'crap Summer tune'... 'Agadoo', 'The Macarena', 'The Ketchup Song', whatever that hideous one by Steps with the dance routine was called...

    At least Schnappi has no dance routine.

    Yes, yes, Andrew, I know that its just wrong on soooo many levels, but I just can't help myself. Almost without exception, I find myself really enjoying all those novelty songs.

    And yeah, I loved "Agadoo" and "The Ketchup" song too.
