I too am feeling fairly introspective today - caught up in the day to day endeavor of trying to manage a healthy pace to my life, while being there for others. I admire your gracious resilience and the way you put your feelings to written word... wishing you well and clarity of thoughts xxx

q60sgirlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-35509950904885547482008-05-27T16:28:00.000+10:002008-05-27T16:28:00.000+10:00Remember, you really do have friends all over the ...Remember, you really do have friends all over the world!Thombeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14610129742797260253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-77757755765355356262008-05-27T15:57:00.000+10:002008-05-27T15:57:00.000+10:00Andrew, there are two ways you can find out where ...Andrew, there are two ways you can find out where your GP has gone. If he is a member of the AMA, they can tell you of his last known contact number; their number is 9439 8822.

The other way (possibly better) is to contact the NSW Medical Board. If he has told them where he has moved to, they can tell you, and they can arrange for your files to be sent to his new practice (there may be a fee for this). Their number is 9879 2200. Good luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-1724189145524324552008-05-27T12:59:00.000+10:002008-05-27T12:59:00.000+10:00"The thing I'm really aware of though is my own la..."The thing I'm really aware of though is my own lack of really maintaining some of these friendships."

Andrew, if that were a crime then myself, Grant, John McK and a host of others would be in jail - serving long sentences!

There's no negative intent in any of us in not maintaining friendships or nurturing them enough - we just all get so caught up in the 3-act plays that are our own lives that we sometimes just forget. We have the right intentions but sometimes that's where we stop.

James is about the only person I know who always does the right thing in this regard and it makes me feel soooo guilty sometimes.

Maybe it is time for all of us to do a friendship audit and look at "resource allocation" ;-)

As always, despite the things you are going through at the moment, I look up to you Andrew. In many ways you have lived a lot more of life and gotten a lot more out of it than I ever have.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
