I'm not offended, but some of your assetions about what Buddhism is and isn't are so far removed from what I have experienced and been taught, that I was quite shocked. I was really surprised. Your post doesn't seem to be about people who profess to be Buddhist but are just wanking on, it seems to more directly state 'Buddhism is crap' (to paraphrase). So, I think you can understand that I take issue with some of your assertions because to me they are factually inaccurate. The Other Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12492925896131382172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-1131978375932356212005-11-15T01:26:00.000+11:002005-11-15T01:26:00.000+11:00Ah, I wondered why so many (drunk) people were out...Ah, I wondered why so many (drunk) people were out and about that night.

Just dropping by to refer you to my page, where I have finally gotten around to writing my bit on Buddhism (-lite, so pls don't take too much offense ;) ).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-1131926361915294872005-11-14T10:59:00.000+11:002005-11-14T10:59:00.000+11:00Hey, lets net get too hung up on semantics here TO...Hey, lets net get too hung up on semantics here TOA. I wanted to love 'em so bad, it almost hurt.

And you know, being a Buddhist and all it was about: Interdependence, breaking down barrier between self and other, unconditional loving kindness, boundless compassion ...

The fact that maybe my emotions just wanted to unconditionally loving kindness all over their hot little bodies is entirely understandable. M'kay.

Don't try and get all in my face with my self justifications, allright? It was love. Pure and simple. M'kay? Well, maybe not entirely pure, but definately simple.Bodhihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17263278478108070519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035053.post-1131924211151887042005-11-14T10:23:00.000+11:002005-11-14T10:23:00.000+11:00Fair points Bodes, although I think love is not th...Fair points Bodes, although I think love is not the emotion either of us was feeling, especially towards low-riding Clavins boy. (Tall, young, blonde, tattooed, lean, broad shouldered... you know, whatever.)

Their were most definately some dazzling, barely dressed beauties to be seen. What-ever. More importantly people, with all that blazing late spring Sydney sun, it was a regular hottie-fest with cute guys absolutely everywhere. Dazzling us both with their individual charms, I must say. So much tanned and toned skin. So many tattoo's. Even better so many tattoo's on tanned and toned skin. *Sigh*

"..this year was badged as 'Lovefest'. Don't ask me, I don't know why." Are you kiddin me, TOA? I don't know about you, but I fell in an outta love about a hundred times, at least. And need I mention the repeated sightings of low-riding Calvin Klein boy? I mean c'mon, I am sure that cutie was stalking us. Its a given, he was just too shy to approach.
